My name is Christine and I am 24 years old. I live in Pennsylvania with my boyfriend, Josh, and I hope to one day call him my husband. Growing up for me was a little different than most people. My family owns a farm where they run their store. I spent my childhood summers outside, playing in corn fields, transplanting flowers, picking vegetables, and trying to live a normal life. My mother was not the average mother either. She tried her best, I guess, but made quite a bit of mistakes while I was growing up. I don't hold anything she has done against her, and it is because it has shaped who I am today. The mistakes she has made forced me to grow up quicker than most kids and has made me somewhat stronger as a person. I have always been a sensitive person and I don't think that will ever change. I believe that the things that happened in my life, both negative and positive, have prepared me for the heartbreaking storm that I was to eventually endure. This storm was loosing my son, who was never able to take his first breath. It has changed my life completely and I know that life will never be what I thought it once was. I am lucky enough though, to have the courage to talk and share my story with anyone who will take the time to listen. We should not be silent anymore. I want people to have the same courage that I have to speak their words and feelings. Most importantly, I want them to share their story.
